Her wings unfold, she lands to rest a never-ending flight
She lies here feeling comforted among a mass of white.
In hospital, an overdose of angels' wings and faces
she's almost half-way there to one of heaven's special places
Now if to wake from hidden dreams at once with bated breath
to wish she looked upon her lover's face instead of death's.
Sacrificed, a long lost vision flutters back in play
Life takes it's toll and forces her to pray to live again.
She turns, a single tear takes it's place upon her cheek
Drained of faith & inner-strength, her will becomes so weak
The fragile body sighs; she inhales into the hollow
